300 capacity warehouse relaunches in London this month

Werkhaus returned last weekend for the Bicep afterparty

One of London’s latest underground party hotspots relaunches this month, featuring a hefty programme of international acts and established promoters. The venue located on Brick Lane returns after an initial run of events in late 2019 which saw its original launch cut short by the pandemic forcing the space to close it’s doors, until now.

The rough and raw 300 capacity club was born from the ashes of a previous warehouse situated behind Cafe 1001 and now boasts a pumping Funktion One sound system to rattle the space’s gritty concrete walls.

Over the coming months, Werkhaus will welcome some of the capital’s leading promoters and collectives to throw a host of shows. The likes of Percolate, LWE and Loaded will all take over the venue, accompanied by some of the top names and rising sensations in electronic music.

Just some of the artists due to perform at the venue from this month onwards include: Brame & Hamo, Sally C, Cromby, Holly Lester, Plastician, Klose One, Jay Carder, Qendresa, a, Frazi.er, Space Dimension Controller, Saffron Stone, and Effy.

Speaking about the venue’s relaunch, Luca, General Manager of Werkhaus says

“Having worked in nightlife for over 15 years it was a real challenge to see a space we’d worked so hard on have to close for 18 months. However, it gave us time to refine the venue and it’s now better than we originally imagined it. We’re absolutely thrilled to be open once more and delivering great events for like minded people!”
