Following the ups and downs of 2020, Family Piknik have been working hard to put together a stellar festival for their 10th birthday celebrations. Taking place in Montpellier, a seaside city in the south of France, the infamous festival will run over 2 days on the 7th and 8th of August this year.

Kicking things off for day one of the anniversary event are some of the finest in deep house and melodic techno, a perfect warm up for this Mediterranean summer party. Acts include the likes of ARTBAT, Bedouin, Adana Twins, Monkey Safari and b2b sets from Kiko & Citizen Kain and Tom Pooks & Joy Kitikonti.
Coming in strong for day two is a full throttle techno lineup with some of the hottest acts in the game. Drumcode boss Adam Beyer will be joined by the Belgian techno queen Charlotte de Witte, both performing to a crowd warmed up by none other than Wehbba.

This year’s celebrations are a long awaited event and the team behind Family Piknik have worked day and night to put it together. Following France’s current procedures, attendees will require a sanitary pass that includes a negative test and vaccination/immunity certificate.
Festival’s director & DJ Tom Pooks commented :
“Past months have been extremely stressful for us as we were waiting for French authorities’s green light and restrictions were uncertain till late. Now we are more confident and excited about the weekend, even if we had to cut 2 of 3 our initial stages and reduce the amount of guest artists we’ll have on stage.
We’re very happy about the great feedbacks we’ve received on our line-up announcement so far, it will be a crazy edition for sure and that’s the best celebration we could ever imagine for our 10th birthday.”
Early-bird tickets have sold out and with a capacity of just 10,000 the rest are sure to go soon! Tickets can be found here.
