Glastonbury’s Shangri-La to open new event space in Bristol this July

The multi-purpose venue will cater for up to 350 attendees

Branded Lost Horizon HQ, the event space dubbed “a creative playground”, will play host to a plethora of talent that showcases art, live music and performance throughout the summer months ahead.

Its inauguration begins July 1st, with a capacity of 120 revellers inside and a further 120 outside and can cater for up to 350 once restrictions are lifted. The multi-use independent bar will have a diverse mix of genres on display, to give you an eclectic mix of creative talent and experiences.

Kaye Dunnings, Creative Director at Lost Horizon, said:

“At last, a lifelong dream of ours is being realised – a creative headquarters where our culture and community can thrive year round – and can be experienced by everyone.

“With inclusivity at our core, we will raise the bar with our new venture, forging collaborations and partnerships within the city and beyond on our ever evolving exploration into human connection.”

Curated by the team behind Shangri-La at Glastonbury, the owners aim to bring headline acts to Bristol following the UK’s biggest festival’s cancellation, due to the ongoing restrictions in place. So it would be wise to keep your eyes peeled for further announcements.
