Space Ibiza owner confirms the club will return before 2022

The club closed its doors in 2016 but could be making a comeback to the White Isle

There are hints and hopes being published, that Space could be reopening before the year is out. For Ibiza the club and brand were a beacon, a rite of passage, and a mainstay on the global circuit until its closure in October 2016. There seems to be some authenticity to the noise, with Pepe Roselló, the original founder and owner making statements.

During an interview with Noudiari, an Ibiza–based publication, there were vague hints that the comeback is happening, but in what capacity is yet to be determined. However he did go onto note that it will be ‘before 2022’.

No news has been shared on the exact location of the new club or what it will look like but the owner has confirmed ‘It will be with Space’. He also brought up his ongoing partnership with Space legend Carl Cox, who over the years has helped put the club on the map:

‘All the projects I have done in my life, I have done with Carl Cox. Some with success and others with less success. I always count on him.’

With the Spanish tourism minister going on record to state that things will ‘reopen safely’ from June with a possibility of vaccination passports, this could be the perfect time for Space to return to the White Isle.
