Groundbreaking event runners The Hydra are returning to Printworks London this August, having unveiled a three day takeover at the cavernous space. The long weekend’s programme will welcome a collection of emerging talent and esteemed performers, complemented by visual mapping artists and specialist lighting technicians who’ll set the scene for the proceedings.
Across the three days will see the sounds of many techno favourites, including one who many deem as the godfather of the genre itself; Jeff Mills. Joining him on the Saturday are Photon boss Ben Klock, acid & electro queen Helena Hauff and a rare live set from Model 500.
Sunday’s finale carries on the trend of pioneering artists, with live sets from Larry Heard and DāM-FunK, along with Carl Craig, Moodyman and Theo Parrish. Visual artists for the weekend include Rebel Overlay AKA Spencer Heron, who has followed The Hydra’s journey since its humble beginnings in 2012, along with Berlin’s Panorama Bar lighting designers Tiefton and Natalie Heckl.
Tickets for The Hydra’s August Bank Holiday Weekend at The Printworks are available from Resident Advisor from Thursday 13th June at 11am.
