This September, the city of Lisbon in Portugal once again plays host to Nova Batida for a second outing. The area which is known as being a cultural playground for creatives, its beautiful city landscape and a standout location for surfers, will provide another interesting canvas for Nova Batida’s welcome return.
Running from the 13-15th of July, the weekend has an abundance of talented selectors on the bill. The likes of Four Tet, Octavian, Jon Hopkins, Daniel Avery, Slowthai, Talib Kweli, Akala, Ross From Friends, Jayda G, Mr Scruff, Floating Points, Ben UFO and many more, will no doubt leave an impression on the Portuguese crowd. Furthermore, Nova Batida have just announced additional names to the lineup with the likes of Jungle, HAAi and Hunee, all set to hit the decks alongside the best in underground talent.
The sun-kissed Portuguese capital will also have plenty to offer in addition to the music, with a range of activities and workshops that include yoga, surfing, museums and creative events for those more culturally inclined.
