The end of 2018 saw another spellbinding programme at Printworks London, running shows all the way through to spring this year. During this time, the capital’s industrial playground welcomed a staggering amount of ravers and some of the latest & greatest in electronic music. From the house heaven of Defected, to the flamboyant flavours of Glitterbox and the dark depths of Klockworks, Surrey Quays saw it all.
As you can imagine, with all these shows comes a lot of staff, ravers and beers. Here’s some of the astounding facts from the past season :
439 artists played throughout the season, across 49 shows.
204,000 ravers partied at the venue, dancing for a total of 397 hours.
220,000 pints of cold beer & cider were served.
1280 members of staff worked to get ravers through the doors and serve drinks on the bar.
From September to May saw Printworks continue to solidify its place as an unparalleled source of house & techno’s elite, curating artists from far and wide to the city of London. Here’s what some of these international artists had to say about the venue :
“I absolutely loved playing at Printworks somehow they made a space that is massive, feels very intimate and personal. It’s absolutely incredible. I even went out on the dance floor for a little fun myself. Can’t wait to do it again! I’m still smiling about it :)” – Kerri Chandler
Still mind-blown, what a venue. One of the best Afterlifes to date – Tale Of Us
‘I am so grateful that this place exists in London!’ – Annie Mac
Printworks has been unreal – BICEP
Printworks will return for another season this Autumn, but if you can’t wait until then, check out the brand new warehouse in London they’ll be hosting at the upcoming Field Day with a wicked lineup this June. Seal your place here.
