Next May, BBC Radio 1’s queen of dance music; Annie Mac returns to the sunlit island of Malta, celebrating 5 years of the ever-growing festival phenomenon; Lost & Found. From 2-5th May, Annie will be joined by a plethora of musical talent ranging from house to grime, showcasing their sounds in the festival’s unique venues. Taking full advantage of the island’s picturesque settings, L&F will return to Malta’s ancient grounds for their infamous castle rave, along with pool & beach parties, and boat trips along the stunning Mediterranean sea.
The recently announced first wave lineup is a sure sign that their 5th instalment will be one for the history books, with some huge names featured already. The Black Madonna, Artwork, Patrick Topping, The Martinez Brothers and an open to close performance from Skream are among the many artists set to play. Away from house & techno, D&B heavy hitters Chase & Status and Shy FX, along with Bass starlet Flava D will round off the festival’s multiple stages.
Ahead of the fifth birthday celebrations, Lost & Found curator Annie Mac has said :
“It’s been four years of this wonderful adventure that we call Lost & Found. We have made so many friends along the way and experienced some unforgettable music memories. It’s been such a dream to bring so many young, brilliant people to discover Malta and its welcoming culture. We are so chuffed that we have made it to five and we are going to celebrate in a big way this year with a huge, diverse line-up to represent the amazing people that come to Lost & Found every year. Cannot wait already.”
