Nooriyah announces a one-off headline show at O2 Academy Brixton

The Middle of Nowhere founder brings a specially curated programme and bespoke production to South London next April

Nooriyah will headline O2 Academy Brixton on Saturday 10 April 2027, taking her club sound to the South London venue for a one-night-only event. The show will feature a specially selected guest lineup and production created for the occasion.

The booking marks a step up in the scale of her headline shows. Rather than presenting the date as a standard touring stop, Nooriyah is building a dedicated event around the room, with the supporting artists still to be revealed.

That approach connects with Middle of Nowhere, the London project she founded to champion music from South West Asia and North Africa and their diasporas. Its focus has always allowed different musical traditions to meet within a contemporary club setting, making the wider curation an important part of the Brixton announcement.

Nooriyah’s route through London already includes headline appearances at KOKO, EartH, Jazz Cafe and Colour Factory. Her Middle of Everywhere European headline tour extended that work beyond the capital. The Brixton date builds on that history of presenting her own events, with the venue, guests and production brought together as one programme.

The full guest bill remains unannounced, leaving the headline booking and the purpose-built presentation as the first details of the event. The date follows a year that has also included appearances at Coachella and Lowlands.

The ticket presale begins on Monday 26 October 2026 at 10am UK time. The show is listed for 7pm, with standing admission restricted to over-14s and seated admission available to over-8s; under-14s must be accompanied by an adult over 18.
