The Pete Tong DJ Academy welcomed it’s first students in April 2022, and has quickly become a hub for promising emerging talent. The academy is an all-inclusive master course for those looking to progress as professional DJs, offering a huge mixture of lessons, tutorials, and guides to its students. As well as the ins and outs of the industry, the course gives you personal tutoring from some of the biggest names in dance music. Already on the team of tutors are the likes of Pete Tong himself, Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Nicole Moudaber, TSHA, and The Reloud. Now, the academy is thrilled to announce that two of the brightest stars in dance music, Adam Beyer and Sama’ Abdulhadi, will be joining its esteemed team of tutors.
Adam Beyer is a highly respected figure in electronic music and has been at the forefront of the techno scene for the last two decades. As a world-renowned DJ and producer, Adam’s leadership of Drumcode has made it one of the most recognizable brands in the world of dance music. With over 250 releases and countless Drumcode parties around the globe, Adam has gained immense knowledge and experience that goes beyond just mixing. His expertise in A&R, unique performance style, and long-term knowledge of the industry will be essential for any aspiring DJ’s success.
Sama’s journey to becoming one of the only internationally recognized DJs from Palestine can be traced back to her time in Beirut. While there, she became fully involved in the growing techno scene and was able to cultivate a unique musical style embracing the world around her. Additionally, she learned the intricacies of mixing tracks and has become a master of creating a cohesive story through her music selection. Her journey through life and music is an amazing one and she is excited to share that experience alongside tips and guides on how to succeed in the DJ world.
These new additions to the academy will offer even more in-depth knowledge from some of the best in the industry. Adam’s experience over the years and his fluency in art and music, combined with Sama’s impressive rise through music will give more personality and specialty to an already outstanding course.
