Club brand Sankeys have announced that they will be taking over a brand new space in the heart of Wales from May 2022. The world-famous brand has already got a party prepared to kick start their journey, with a day rave on the 14th May. The opening night will feature Richy Ahmed, wAFF, Max Chapman, Amine Edge & DANCE, Miguel Campbell, Clive Henry, Ellie Cocks, Andrew Kay, and Hypoxia.
Starting in a Manchester warehouse back in 1994, Sankeys are now a global brand running venues and events across the world. They have an ever-growing party on the island of Ibiza, and always sell out their shows at the famous London Studio 338. Most recently, they have announced their hugely anticipated festival at Colesdale Farm on July 2nd, 2022.
A special series of nine highly anticipated events have been unveiled for the new space in Wales. Each event will have a strictly limited capacity to ensure an underground vibe and create a buzz around the parties. Sankeys are no stranger to hosting and promoting an event, so ravers can be sure they will get cutting-edge sound and production for each night at the brand new venue.
The venue will be powered by Warehouse Gym, an incredible gym complex situated on a large industrial estate, which will make for a unique venue this summer. The club will consist of several spaces; The Arena will give the industrial warehouse room feel, complemented by The Lab which will give the more intimate underground club space. With an assortment of other spaces, along with world-class lighting, there will be plenty to keep everyone on their toes.
The opening night features a huge lineup of house and tech-house artists. Cocoon regular and rolling minimal master wAFF is due to perform alongside the influential long-time Ibiza favourite and Four Thirty-Two label boss Richy Ahmed. French duo Amine Edge & DANCE will be bringing their high energy shows to Wales, the CUFF bosses are known for their cross-genre blend of G-House. This will go hand in hand with Sankeys regular Max Chapman, longtime underground mainstay Clive Henry, ABODE regular Ellie Cocks, as well as Andrew Kay, and Hypoxia.
