We Are FSTVL is quickly becoming established as one of the finest independent festivals in the UK. 2022 is set to be their biggest festival yet, recently partnering with Pretty Little Thing and announcing the first phase of the lineup. The festival returns to its spiritual home at Damyns Hall Aerodrome, otherwise known as The Airfield of Dreams, on the 6th – 7th of August.
We Are FSTVL celebrates the very best in House, Urban, Bass, Techno, and Drum & Bass, they have now announced some of their essential headliners for the event and there are some heavy hitters! The latest additions include powerhouses from across the spectrum featuring some of the finest artists house and techno have to offer.

Legendary rave veteran Carl Cox, who will be turning 60 in July is headlining on the Sunday. Based in Hove this won’t be the furthest Carl travels this year for his usual international summer lineup. Even though he is an ambassador for house and techno, you can expect a set sprinkled with acid house, drum and bass, hip-hop, and Chicago house.
Drumcode’s influential top dog Adam Beyer will be joining Carl Cox as a headliner on the Saturday iteration of the festival. The Swede is also another Techno giant, with a weekly techno radio broadcast that reaches 11 million people. So it’s safe to say Adam Beyer will have huge pulling power and you can expect his stage to be packed to capacity.

Afterlife label heads and melodic giants Tale Of Us are a Saturday headliner. The duo have seen a meteoric rise since the inception of Afterlife back in 2016. The “odyssey through the realm of consciousness” has been a huge hit with their cult following, the melodic label has an ethos of walking through space and time, unconscious and conscious realities, and their shows tend to be special both visually and auditory. We’re yet to see whether Tale Of Us will headline an Afterlife stage but it will be one to see regardless.
Massive global house duo The Martinez Brothers will also be there for Saturday, bringing the party vibes straight from the Bronx. With a quick stint in high fashion, The Martinez Brothers are back firmly in the music scene. Another American pioneer making an appearance on the Saturday is Todd Terry. He’ll be showing why he is such a revered veteran of the game, and you can expect to see a master at work.
The last huge headliner on the 2nd phase billing is Trick head honcho, and UK house sensation Patrick Topping. The rise we have seen from Patrick since 2014 has been mind-blowing. “Track of the season“, “Best Tech House DJ” and “Best Newcomer DJ” are just some of the awards to accompany Beatport Number 1’s and a new label. With his following in the UK this will be another packed-out stage, so be sure to get there early.
