Deep inside the Coney Woods in Noseley, Leicester, Noisily are gearing up for their return to action for 2022. They have announced their first wave for the Music and Visual Arts festival taking place from 7th – 10th July, this summer. The festival sees 6,000 like-minded festival-goers descend deep into the woods for a unique experience. The organisers transform the woods into a wonderland of visual and audible experiences over 4 days, looking at the incredible pictures from previous events, we wonder what the creative director will come up with this year.

For the music, Noisily has made some noise with their headlining Sunday show. Progressive & melodic house legend John Digweed will be closing the festival on his debut. Digweed is set to play an extended four-hour set, giving him plenty of time to take ravers on a journey and show off the different styles he has mastered. With very few events on his RA profile, it would seem this will be a fairly exclusive show from Digweed, who has a career spanning over 20 years.

The lineup also includes a plethora of different genres that suit the festival well. Big bass sounds from across the spectrum by the legendary Bristol tastemaker Eats Everything. Lampe & Luis and M, Carbon will be part of a seismic psychedelic techno session on the Saturday night, and hair-raising tech from OC & Verde. Opening the Noisily Stage on Saturday alongside her good friend Tony Casanova, Frida Darko will bring the forest to life with her blend of psychedelic downtempo techno. It’s all part of the festival’s diverse offering, something for every part of their family.

The lineup also includes the likes of Atlantik, Audio Anonymous, Audley, Ben Coda, Henri Bergmann, James Monro, and Quivver amongst others.
The festival is built around 4 core pillars of beliefs. Environment, Wellness and Education, Community, and Creativity. For the environment, “Noisily commits to protect and conserve the local environment, setting an example in order to inspire our community to live consciously year round”. Wellness and education will be set in an alternative learning centre, teaching holistic and spiritual practices. Community is driven around the 6,000 people in the woods for four days, becoming one family. Finally, creativity is the forward-facing ethos, a platform for music, arts, psychedelic culture and creativity.
