AIAIAI announces world’s first wireless headphones for music production

TMA-2 Wireless+ is available to pre-order now

Today, Danish audio tech firm AIAIAI has unveiled a brand new product which will mark the world’s first wireless headphones specifically designed for music creation. The brand which is trusted by many industry professionals including Richie Hawtin and Charlotte De Witte, has been committed to audio innovation since its inception in 2006.

With the digital revolution continuing to make music creation more accessible than ever, AIAIAI’s new headphones named TMA-2 Studio Wireless+ will finally enable creators to “break free from the cable and expand their creative freedom” without the need of a professional studio.

Three years in the making, The TMA-2 Studio Wireless+ boasts ultra-low latency and lossless audio thanks to new AIAIAI’S new W+ Link technology. Unlike Bluetooth, W+Link uses a dual antenna on the receiver to ensure a constant signal which is simultaneously analysed internally. This along with a far higher, premium bandwidth enables a latency-free wireless experience with complete stability and robustness when producing music.

Co-developed with AIAIAI brand ambassador and electronic music maverick Richie Hawtin, the new headphones also features 80+ hours of playback time via Bluetooth 5.0 and a coiled hi-fi cable when using in traditional set ups – perfect for the modern dynamic workflow.

Speaking about the new TMA-2 Studio Wireless+, Richie Hawtin said:

“In 2021 it feels archaic to be wired to a piece of hardware just to guarantee pristine audio quality. The TMA-2 Wireless+ headphones give you the freedom to step further away from your devices allowing you to capture creative and expressive ideas while immersed in perfect sound. Disconnect and dive deeper into your moment of creativity.”

What’s more, the headphones are equipped with AIAIA’s flagship bio-cellulose diaphragm driver, designed to deliver precise and reliable audio during the creative process. These stiffer, lighter and stronger speaker units allow the sound-producing diaphragm to vibrate with lower levels of distortion compared to other speakers.

The TMA-2 Wireless+ can be preordered from today and will be available in stores January 2022. For more info and to order your pair, head to the AIAIAI website here.
