In the heart of Tottenham, London lies a venue which has touched many hearts in its short existence and at the end of the year will sadly be closing down for good. Following suit with many other previously closed venues in the UK, The Cause will be shutting its doors to make way for more residential buildings.
What was always meant to be a temporary project, starting off in 2018 as a one room venue with capacity of 400 has since seen The Cause become an institution for dance music in the capital. As of today space has seen over 220,000 ravers through its doors and raised over £150,000 for charities. To celebrate its departure from the scene the club has curated a set of closing shows to go out with a bang.

The final blow out will be taking place over the New Years with an epic NYE + NYD party that is sure to go on to the late hours of the morning. Prior to this are a huge set of shows to end the year and of course celebrate the memorable events this venue has thrown over its time. Ending off November will see nights from a variety of brands and acts including the likes of Anti-Diet Riot Club x Crossbread, Boudica, Mister Bear & Soundstream and Alien Communications.

Taking over December are some of The Cause’s favourites alongside worldwide talents. Kicking off the month is a free Xmas block party with Taleggio Nights: Italo Birthday special taking place on the 3rd. The following day is the closing party from Alchemy featuring the dons Fabio & Grooverider as well as some of the finest in DnB. The 8th sees a Pulse event followed by Tribes and their closing party on the 11th with the likes of Ben Sims, Kolter and a live show from KiNK.

December 17th will host an intimate party for Gardenstate to celebrate their Inspirations album tour. On the 18th is the Warm Up Christmas (day) party with Aiden Doherty, Gus Emmet, Jorge Martins and Muther. Following this on the 19th is the infamous Jungle Splash with Ray Keith, Nicky Blackmarket and more.
The Cause’s final show taking place on New Years Eve and Day will see doors open at 13.00 through to 06.00 the next day as the gang says ‘Goodbye Sweetheart’ to what has been a home to many unreal parties over the years.
