Bristol is set to gain a fresh new record store next month, courtesy of the cultural hotspot’s very own homegrown label Shall Not Fade. Opening on December 4th, the imprint will be setting up shop on At Nicholas Street, in the heart of Bristol’s Old City.
Running for 6 years, Shall Not Fade was founded by Kieran Williams back in 2015 and has since championed an ever-growing list of rising and established artists such as Baltra, Demuja, DJ Boring, Harrison BDP, and EFFY.

To mark the occasion, SNF will be throwing a series of opening parties in store with label favourites performing. The inaugural opening on December 4th will see Laurence Guy take to the decks.
The following week on December 10th, DJOKO, Cinthie, Kessler and Ejeca are set to feature, alongside other guests still to be announced. Later that night, the party continues at nearby club Motion, with the same acts joined by Black Loops, Y U QT & Killa P, and Ell Murphy.

What’s more, they won’t just be selling music, the store will also offer lessons in DJing and label management classes for those wanting to hone their skills or even pursue a career in the industry.

The label management lessons will cover A&R, vinyl manufacturing, events, marketing, press, radio, and more. As part of the store’s commitment to the Kickstart Scheme and local community, half of each course’s spots will also be free for disadvantaged individuals aged 18-24.
