The capital’s renowned industrial playground has today announced that a new room will be in action for their highly anticipated autumn-winter season. Named Inkwells, the new space is located in the heart of the building, beneath the venue’s iconic main room; the Press Halls.

Previously housing huge ink tanks which supplied the Press Hall’s giant printing presses, the Inkwells features a stripped-back raw aesthetic with weathered concrete pillars and low ceilings for an intimate, yet vast space with a derelict feel to it.

The space has never been used before and after many months in the making will open for the first time this autumn alongside the cavernous Press Halls. Printworks continues to develop their music programming year on year. The addition of this new space is designed to expand their offering and act as a platform for both new and established artists.

Speaking about the new space, Broadwick Live’s Managing Director, Bradley Thompson said:
“As we prepare to open our doors again, it’s exciting to announce another evolution in the Printworks story. As a business we are committed to constantly bettering the experience for all our guests across our venue portfolio and the addition of the Inkwells allows us to programme even more incredible artists and talent for the upcoming Printworks London season and beyond.“
The venue reopens on September 17th with three days of back to back shows as part of their Redacted series. The full autumn-winter season will be announced Tuesday 10th August.
