With summer finally on the horizon, Manchester’s latest party destination Square One is vying to make the most of the limited British sunshine with a series of open-air parties for the warmer weather ahead. Located a stone’s throw away from Piccadilly Station, the former car park located in Manchester will hold events weekly through July and August.
The venue is fairly new to the scene, with Square one giving this statement:
Manchester is our home. This one is for the dancers, a new venue with no-nonsense. Let’s make up for the lost memories and come together, a good and proper open-air affair. Summer is coming and the dance floor is ready”.
July 3rd marks the inaugural event of the series, curated by LA DISCOTHÈQUE PRESENTS and bringing with it the likes of Dan Shake, Secretsundaze, Mafalda, Sharples & Laura Jackson.
On July 4th finds Zutech Presents with Héctor Oaks, Imogen, Aalice and a special guest yet to be announced. Zutech are back again a week later on July 10th, ushering in Kettama & Partyboi69, Effy and Shawn Cartier.
The penultimate party in the series lands July 31st, with,Luigi Madonna, Nancy (LIVE), Rebūke and Opus Klein rounding up the billing nicely for Jika Jika Presents. The final show in the series titled Mason in the Parking Lot, is staged for August 15th with Mason Collective and guests taking over the sunlit skies.
