Set to open it’s doors on June 25th is the latest edition to one of the globe’s party capitals. The brand new club going by the name of Glam will claim its residence in the heart of Shoreditch. The team behind the venue are excited to bring a ‘luxury clubbing’ experience to the underground arena, complemented by a prestigious programme of house acts to perform throughout the year.
Bringing a change from the gritty warehouse scene that underground music has become attached to over the years, Glam has been kitted out with high-end design including a solid gold bar, waterfall chandeliers and Swarovski crystal decor.
Speaking about the new club, co-owner Carl McCormick said:
“I cut my teeth at the always beautifully designed and luxuriant Renaissance with its world-class DJs, and I’m not gunna lie, it’s a huge inspiration for what we are doing with Glam. The club is just what everyone needs right now – something that’s high-end, super special in every way, but never too stuffy or elitist. We’re proudly going against the grain and redefining the glossy glam of the 90s with a contemporary soundtrack.”
Already set to play this year are some of the hottest acts from the house scene. Armand Van Helden, Tony Humphries, Louie Vega, David Morales, Dave Lee, Moodena, Michael Gray, Jeremy Healy, Brandon Block, Allister Whitehead and many more will be gracing the premium club over the coming months.
