Junction 2 confirm Nina Kraviz, Dax J, Laurent Garnier & Effy for Tobacco Dock takeover

After parties will also be held at Fabric London

This August Bank Holiday weekend, LWE’s coveted festival Junction 2 will take to the East London party hotspot Tobacco Dock for a two-day knees up. The powerhouse lineup just announced to play combines previous J2 favourites who have featured over the years with artists due to perform at their 2022 festival and recent virtual editions.

Representing the brand’s core sound across four separate rooms, the eclectic billing spans the breadth of electronic music from underground house to the darker shades of techno and spine-tingling breaks.

Saturday 28th August finds Aphex Twin protege Afrodeutsch joined by two of techno’s leading ladies; Amelie Lens and ANNA. Hot off the heels of their performances for J2’s virtual shows, Dixon and DJ Boring will also be bringing their signature sounds to the capital.

Playing an extended 4 hour set finds the inimitable Maceo Plex with a rare opportunity to showcase a range of his favoured sounds, as well as an other-worldly DJ set from Jon Hopkins. Completing the day’s lineup is electro and breakbeat master DMX Krew, alongside Chicago’s Eris Drew, OK Williams, Cici and more.

Moving onto Sunday 29th August’s action-packed billing, will see Drumcode head honcho Adam Beyer topping the lineup. The relentless selections of Dax J are sure to rock the venue, whilst Maribou State shift the pace with the first DJ set in their hometown for nearly two years. Industry legend Laurent Garnier is also set to perform, as well as techno queens Charlotte De Witte and Nina Kraviz. Rounding off the day is Poland’s radical talent VTSS and the hotly-tipped DJs Effy, Heléna Star, and SNO.

If all of that wasn’t enough, there will also be after parties at the world-renowned Fabric, with the lineups still TBC.

A final round of tickets will go live on Tuesday 18th May, sign up to grab yours here.
