E1 London announces relaunch with I Hate Models, Fjaak, Sasha & Ellen Allien

The venue's 'wall of sound' will be put to good use this summer

East London’s underground party hotspot has today unveiled a new series of events for their 2021 relaunch. The 1650 capacity venue will re-open its doors on June 25th, with a host of shows planned throughout the summer ushering in some of the leading names in dance music.

The relaunch series dubbed ‘E1 Presents’ will take place after the already announced shows in June which include DanceOnArrival on the 25th, Audiowhore’s 10th Birthday the following day and Dazed on 24th July.

Kicking off the in-house series on 7th August will see Âmé’s first UK live performance for over a year and DJ sets from Recondite, Jimi Jules and Alinka. Friday 20th sees E1 partner Volt hosting an all night session with in-demand acts I Hate Models, Hadone and Hector Oats. Then on Saturday 21st, a heavyweight techno lineup of Ellen Allien, Rebekah and DVS1 will rain down some wall-shaking beats in the capital.

Friday 27th August brings the inimitable duo Fjaak for a DJ set and Detroit’s electro pioneer DJ Stingray, alongside rising star Sedef Adasi. Moving into September, Friday 3rd is one for the more melodic house & techno lovers with Sasha, Jeremy Olander and Patrice Bäumel all confirmed to play. They’ll be joined by emerging talents Nick Castle and Asch Pintura.

On Friday 10th September, techno royalty Ben Klock will be in town, along with Bambonou, Adiel, Blasha & Allat and Nene H putting the venue’s hefty Funktion One sound system to work. Finally on 11th September, Little Gay Brother will be performing for LGBTQIA+ as part of a very special Pride Weekend party.
