Masters At Work, Roger Sanchez & Mark Knight to play 51st State Festival

The annual spectacle returns to Trent Park on Saturday 7th August

This August, one of the UK’s most diverse festivals makes its long-awaited return to North London. Marking their sixth edition, 51st State Festival will once again take over the luscious Trent Park with a lineup designed to celebrate the sounds that shaped dance music as we know it today.

The carefully curated billing will explore the vibrant heritage of dance from its roots in US gospel, soul and house, through to iconic movements of UKG, acid house and the next generation of artists pushing the boundaries of electronic music.

Taking place across multiple stages on Saturday 7th August between 11.00-22.00, the festival has ushered in some of the most influential and seminal figures dance music has to offer.

Heading up Groove Odyssey’s stage will see the legendary duo Masters at Work in full swing, alongside 4-deck wizard Roger Sanchez and disco tastemaker Dimitri From Paris. Also confirmed are the trio Body & Soul, made up of Francois K, Joe Clausell and Danny Krivit, as well as house music royalty Dave Lee. Live performances from the iconic voices of Jocelyn Brown, Alison Limerick and House Gospel Choir complete this action-packed stage.

Three headline acts join the FOUND main stage, with Hannah Wants making her only London festival appearance this summer. She’ll be joined by Toolroom head honcho Mark Knight, and the award-winning DJ/producer Bontan. Meanwhile, G-House originators Amine Edge & DANCE will be showcasing their signature sounds, whilst Todd Terry brings some Chicago & New York flavours into the mix.

Other stages include a UKG takeover hosted by Back To 95 with the likes of Todd Edwards, Heartless Crew, Shola Ama and Majestic confirmed. Acid House lovers will have their own arena featuring Ratpack and John Morales tops the bill on House FM’s VIP stage alongside many more.
