Football stadium to transform into pop-up music event venue this summer

Acts announced to perform include Sonny Fodera, Jamie Jones and Purple Disco Machine

Throughout May and June, Stevenage FC’s Lamex Stadium in Hertfordshire has partnered up with Nu Future to deliver a brand new, impressive array of events, aptly named the Stadium Series. After working alongside the Safety Advisory Group, the events have been cleared as Covid compliant.

Boasting 600 square metres of pitch, 500 lights and 1000m of laser wall, the football stadium will be completely transformed into a rave haven. The event has been in the making since August last year and promises to deliver a ‘summer of love with plenty of sunshine, smiles and superb sounds’

“We are delighted to launch our socially distanced Stadium Series with our fantastic partners at Stevenage Football Club. The series will be fully covid compliant with a range of different shows for the local community to enjoy throughout May and June. We can’t wait to welcome you to Nu Future!”

Nu Future‘s events include something for everybody, to list just a few:

Kicking things off on Friday 14th May, Bongo’s Bingo is set to bring some retro fun and games before La Fiesta takeover on Saturday 15th. The underground house event boasts ‘crazy Ibiza party’ vibes, headlined by Paradise mainstay Richy Ahmed and Solid Grooves regular Dennis Cruz.

Saturday 22nd shifts the vibe to a cosmic and funky level with Groove Odyssey and Dave Lee (aka, Joey Negro).

Saturday 29th May will see a chance for Defected regulars Sonny Fodera and Ferreck Dawn to showcase their signature sounds. Meanwhile Hot Creations head honcho Jamie Jones tops the bill on Bank Holiday Sunday 30th May.
