It’s been a turbulent year for pretty much everyone in 2020, but that’s especially true for many creatives in the nightlife industry with most being out of work since March.
However, Arts Council England have recently opened applications for Developing Your Creative Practice (DYCP), awarding grants from £2,000 to £10,000. Available to performers, creators, educators, technicians and specialists, the grants have been set up to provide support as the pandemic continues to keep people out of work.
Applicants need only one year of experience outside a formal educational setting, with a total of £18 million being granted over the next 12 months. Four rounds of applications will take place starting this month and ending in October 2021. What’s more, even if your application is rejected, you can reapply for another round.
More info and how to submit your application can be found here.
