With more and more festivals and events in 2020 being cancelled or postponed to next year, Caprices; originally set to take place in April, have announced that they will be putting on two weekend events next month in a special postponed edition of the festival. Taking place on the 18th – 20th, and 25th – 27th of September in the beautiful Crans Montana, Swizerland, the event will have two stages; Modernity and Forest.
Modernity sits 2,200m high, with a transparent roof providing panoramic views of the stunning Alps. Exclusively used for daytime parties, it has gained a cult following amongst underground clubbers.
A brand new and never used before setting for Caprices is The Forest Stage. A circular building, offering a 360-degree view with indoor and outdoor spaces, located (you guessed it) in the middle of the forest.
Caprices will have up to 1000 capacity at their two arenas, with each stage split into three zones. This means that only a privileged few will get to attend a special edition of this festival.
Weekend 1 features an eclectic line up with Crosstown Rebels curator Damian Lazarus, melodic master Guy Gerber, and techno heavyweight Dubfire, as well as a host of up and coming and local house and techno talent. It’s great to see Caprices supporting the local talent and pushing their scene.
Weekend 2 sees the Afterlife mainstay duo Adriatique, Fuse regular Archie Hamilton and Ricardo Villalobos playing a special b2b, as well as Cocoon boss Sven Vath, along with a host of talented DJs that will be bringing the vibe to the Swiss alps.
Tickets for the original April festival remain valid for the September edition. However, refund options are possible (up to 19 August). A small number of tickets will go on sale 20th August, you can get them here!
