Sound Garden Radio launches July 1st

Dedicated to showcasing an eclectic offering of genres across the electronic music spectrum and beyond, Sound Garden Radio airs its first show next week on July 1st. Running alongside the radio station is an events company called The Garden Project and label named Grass Route Records, designed to shine a spotlight on upcoming producers. The fresh-faced label has certainly hit the ground running, with its first two EPs hitting the number 1 spot on Beatport releases for minimal/deep tech.

Housed within a purpose-built studio in Maidstone, the radio station is locked & loaded to welcome a roster of artists who’ll each perform regular shows. Alongside the standard programme will see a host of special guest DJs and collaborations with renowned brands.

Part of the group’s core values is nurturing talent, helping emerging artists to rise through the ranks by providing a home for learning and development.

Speaking about Unity, company director Richie Carrera has said  :

Unity Group is more than just a company, we like to think of ourselves as a family. All pulling in the same direction to bring not only new music and events to the area, but support upcoming artists with options to play on the station, help them getting tracks finished for our label and eventually lead to playing at our events. Our whole ethos is to support and grow together.

Download the Sound Garden Radio app to tune in from 8am on July 1st.
