As the new decade begins and new year resolutions are in full swing, what better way to start your year in style than at the famous EC1 venue, Fabric, alongside some fine underground talent.
High-end minimum house is in Vogue at the moment, and the Alter Ego team have curated another stellar lineup to have those with that in mind very happy indeed this weekend. Walking the line between deep, tech, and techno, minimal features catchy basslines and grooving riffs all underpinned by energetic drums. It’s no wonder it’s the sound of the moment, with DJs across the underground spectrum all featuring it in their sets.
After their last showcase in October 13th which featured Mehlor as the headline act, the Alter Ego lineup has gone from strength to strength – something the well versed London crowd will appreciate. Alter Ego residents Mälu and Marcelina Wick will be bringing their unique take on the minimal sound with the lineup then propped up by local artists Jay Medvedeva, Olly Vanc and Moxiaolin. Headlining the event is the Romanian-born Hostox, and he will be sure to take Room 1 by storm on January 12th. The man behind the track ‘Message In A Bottle’, which has garnered 1.5m views on YouTube, is known for his big beats and compelling grooves so his set should be one not to miss.
