Preview : Glitterbox & Defected New Year takeover at Printworks London

House & Disco in London's leading venue

As 2019 comes to a close, eager ravers are looking for that big party to see the year out in style, and Printworks have got a double-whammy to bring in 2020. The venue which is considered as one of the most striking and unique spaces to rave features massive production, an industrial backdrop and quality audio to boot – ticking all the right boxes.

Pairing a brilliant venue with an exceptional brand will without doubt have the revellers front and centre. This year’s NYE/NYD shenanigans brings the infectious disco grooves of Glitterbox, alongside the industry favourite Defected for two separate events.

Confetti drop at last year’s Defected party

After continued successful parties, an ethos on togetherness, openness and a sold out Printworks stint earlier this year, Glitterbox has curated another glistening lineup of funk-laden selectors for when the clock strikes midnight in 2020. The likes of Basement Jaxx, The Shapeshifters ft Teni Tinks, Qwestlife, Katie Goodman, Mousse T, Simon Dunmore and Melvo Baptiste are all listed to play. This is then all topped off by flamboyant performers, dancers and entertainers, giving the attendees an added amount of glitz and glamour on the night, a spectacle in itself!

The cavernous Press Halls of Printworks London

For those in search of house music all day long, the 1st of January is just what the doctor ordered, with the lineup once again stacked with a huge wealth of talent. Brought to you by one of the biggest labels in the game, Defected will allow you to dance until you drop on NYD. With the legend Armand Van Helden and his plethora of anthems as a headline which will have you singing your heart out. Alongside features some heavyweights in their own right, with the likes of Low Steppa, Sam Divine, Ferreck Dawn, Roberto Surace and head honcho Simon Dunmore rounding things off nicely.
