GW Harrison confirmed for brand new party in Kent

Excitement fizzes around Tunbridge Wells for the launch of ‘Unity Parties’

Pitcher & Piano welcomes the launch of a new event on Friday 29th November, created by homegrown DJ Matt Shead, better known as ‘Sheado’. The upcoming artist has built his name on the local circuit after climbing the ranks at Kent’s well-established music venue The Source Bar in Maidstone. The new party named Unity will see the venue kitted out with a Void sound system and high-end production, to set the scene for the brand’s anticipated launch.

Former local, come International DJ GW Harrison headlines the launch party at Pitcher & Piano in Tunbridge Wells. With a deep embedded passion for the music, it’s easy to see why GW has become a mainstay for one of the UK’s biggest brands ABODE, alongside regular stints in Ibiza and further afield.

With the summer of 2017 now being a distant memory, many of you will still recall GW’s dominating Ibiza anthem “When House Takes a Journey”. The track which still commands dance floors across the globe now, was labelled by mix-mag as the “Naughtiest bassline of the year” and listed as one of BBC Radio 1’s biggest tracks of 2017. This summer has seen GW assert his presence across the world and complete his second residency at Ibiza super club; Amnesia.

Supporting the headliner on the night finds fresh talent in the shape of Chris Ansell, Faz Sherazi, John Wells and event runner Sheado himself in the main room. Meanwhile Bradley Shujah, Emay, Frazer Hamilton, Kai Haley and Versa are in charge of proceedings upstairs in room two.

For locals to the venue, the new party has created a buzzing atmosphere as Tunbridge Wells looks to reignite its nightlife. This comes following a string of events hosted at nearby space The Forum, which have come and gone with little success after the venue had previously carried the local music scene. The launch of Unity and more recently Faz Sherazi’s brand Love House, signifies that there has finally been some progression in electronic music growing in Royal Tunbridge Wells. The birth of two new parties at Pitcher & Piano paired with Tim Cullen’s SWiTCH event at The Forum may suggest that momentum is building in the local area to support a refreshing change to area’s night time economy.

Find out for yourself on Friday 29th November, as Unity looks to start a bustling new movement for Kent.
