Following last year’s acclaimed festival debut, Northern Ireland’s beloved Jika Jika! will return this August for a two day extravaganza over the August bank holiday weekend. Derry’s notorious house & techno event have had their sights firmly set on expanding the brand’s popular concept to a festival scale, however are keen to not compromise the core party values which they’ve become widely known for.
Landing between Saturday 24th – Sunday 25th August at Ebrington Square, the location’s eye-catching views of the River Foyle and Peace Bridge will provide the perfect backdrop to a day of top notch beats. In charge of the soundtrack to the day finds some of the most in-demand artists on the planet land in the city.
London-based breakbeat sensation Mall Grab heads up the Saturday lineup, bringing with him Paul Woolford’s darker alias; Special Request, Brame & Hamo b2b Sally C and Nite Fleit. Sunday sees Derry turn into La La Land as industry icon Green Velvet presents his own stage alongside Bristol’s Eats Everything, drumcode regular Layton Giordani, Opus Klein and rising star Alisha.
