Stereo Underground to release Debut album

A landmark in the artist's growing career

Stereo Underground is teasing fans with a preview of his brand new release ‘Little red head, ft Sealine’, set to land on April 26th, with the full length arriving May 17th. The single forms one of the tracks on his new debut album titled ‘The Art of Silence’.

The Israeli artist, born in Haifa and otherwise known as Yariv Etzion is no stranger to the world of music, starting out his journey as an enthusiastic drummer in the local rock scene. After discovering his taste for electronic music as a teen, a move to the city of Tel Aviv became the catalyst to his new found love for the dance music genre and introduced him to the underground scene.

As a DJ, Stereo Underground has already achieved much in the way of success – his alias started in 2009 and over the past decade has received praise from the likes of Mixmag for his hypnotic production. Here’s what Yariv had to say about his upcoming release:

“An album, in my opinion, is the holy grail for a musician” he says. “I waited 38 years to give myself the peace of mind I needed to do so. It took me 10 months of writing, recording, sound design and mixing to create the final result.”

The track ‘Little red head’ is a testament to the production power he has, whilst paying credit to his musical roots. Containing an indie/dance crossover with atmospheric vocals, enticing spacious arrangements and a progressive melody that builds to a superb finale. This track really is an indicator of the sheer quality of this album, set to be released on Australian label Balance Music. Give it a listen yourself below.
