It’s been 5 years since Avotre label boss, Santé released his debut artist album; Current. This spring sees his return, with a finely tuned 13 track album entitled Current II. Santé’s no stranger to the game with 9 years of producing club bangers in his locker, not only on his own label, but also working closely with the likes of Desolat, Cocoon, Rekids and Souvenir Music.
His new album has a combination of unique sounds, artistic flare and some first class collaborations. Teaming up in the studio with artists such as Mathias Kaden, Stickel, Tian Karl and Joaquin De Koen; all whom have worked tirelessly to capture their own style in the production. The full release is set for later this spring, but for those of you like us eager to get a taste of the album a 3 track EP will be available across multiple platforms from the 22nd of March.
The EP ‘Emotional Closer’ features 3 interesting and unique floor fillers, each demonstrating the variety of sounds on offer within the album. The first track, ‘Emotional Closer’ is a drum heavy, high pace house tune. Smooth symphonies and a soft keyboard influence, combined with the quick beat to craft a distinct dance track. Second on the EP is ‘Sunset Boulevard’ an aptly named tune with heavy synths, fast hats and a high energy Detroit house style. Completing the EP is a melodic number called ‘Twisted Love’. A tune with futuristic astral notes, paired with broken drums and fast smooth hats – ideal for a sunrise set.
