It’s coming to that time of year that everyone dance music fan looks forward to in the sunny state of Florida; Miami Music Week. Some of the finest acts in house & techno will again land in the beachside city from the 26th March through to the 31st. Many acts will also feature on multiple occasions during the week, with hosted parties by some of the most renowned names in the game.
After becoming one of the fastest growing brands with another record breaking year, party curators Diskolab are continuing their upward trajectory into 2019, with no signs of stopping soon. Throughout Miami Music Week will see the brand utilising the vibrant city’s most luxurious spaces for their long list of scheduled shows from pool parties to warehouses raves – there’s something for everyone.
With so much choice among their programme, we’ve selected our top picks of the bunch which you need to see.
On March 27th sees Aussie sensation Fisher bring his very own “Catch and Release” party to the stunning Delano Beach Club, joined by two of the finest producers in tech house; Mason Maynard and Eli Brown. Industry stalwart Martin Ikin features with them on the back of his recent release “No No” on Repopulate Mars, while the energy of Melè will certainly bring the tempo up along with some very special guests.
Everyone’s favourite party; elrow takes over Mana Wynwood on the 30th March with their insane production and bonkers creativity levels. Ravers are treated to a star-studded line up packed out with b2b’s. The curly haired wizard on the decks wAFF will go b2b with De La Swing, whilst Patrick Topping plays alongside a very special guest yet to be announced. elrow regulars Eddy M & Bastian Bux will too play together, before a 3 way b2b which may be the highlight of the day with Detlef, Latmun & Nathan Barato. Completing the line up is the masked man Claptone and Dosem b2b with another special guest.
Our final pick for Diskolab’s unbelievable array of shows on March 28th brings two of the most successful duos together for their debut show, Camelphat & Solardo at the Sagamore Hotel Pool. Titled Sola vs Blow! – the daytime party brings an unbelievable line up, starting with their special guest; Dirtybird’s bossman Claude VonStroke. In demand selectors Michael Bibi, Hector Couto and Riva Starr are also set to feature, whilst fast rising stars Mason Maynard, Rebuke and Del-30 will bring their fresh sounds to Miami. The line up is completed by Radio 1’s Danny Howard, Seb Zito, Mason Collective and BJ Brown.
