Family Piknik confirm full lineup with Carl Cox, Sven Vath, Matador & more

The festival returns for its eighth edition

Running on the 3rd and 4th of August, Family Piknik festival lands back in Montpellier on the sunny south coast of France to celebrate year eight with a first class party. Saturday’s agenda will feature an amazing opening concert filled with artistic displays and a stage dedicated to live techno performances.

Kicking things off will be a show from French trio LKF, before headliner Agoria who will present his innovative live show, based around his new album. A performance from Diynamic’s Johannes Brecht and a new live act from Marc Romboy will also take place. Irish born techno artist Matador will too be curating his famous live show, one of only six performances to be taking place from the artist this year.

Sunday’s line up hosts some of the biggest names in the scene and amazing back to back sets spread over 3 stages. The main stage will feature performances from techno veterans Carl Cox and Sven Vath along with Jonas Rathsman, Nico Moore and Damian Lazarus. A back to back set from Tom Pooks and Joy Kitikonti and an epic closing set from Drumcode’s Enrico Sangiuliano completes the main stage’s schedule. 

The Flamingo stage hosts the best in melodic and progressive techno. Featuring an exclusive 3 hour back to back set from legends Sasha & John Digweed, a 3 hour set from Hernan Cattaneo, La Fleur B2B Magdalena and Cebb B2B Greg Delon. As well as sets from Guy Mantzur, Mees Salomé and the unique sounds of Joris Voorn.

Also located in the woods is a new secret stage that will definitely be worth finding. Throughout the day the eccentric selector Butch will lay down his smooth sounds, whilst Keinemiusik’s head honchos Adam Port and &ME will play back to back for 4 hours throughout the evening.
