Guti releases album on Cuttin’ Headz

The artist's third album is a rhythmic masterpiece

Argentinian superstar Guti is releasing a 14 track album jam-packed with electronic gems on The Martinez Brother’s new record label – “Cuttin’ Headz”. The album which drops on March 29th is entitled “The Year of The Conga” and is the first release on the new label – what a way to kick things off.

Being huge fans of Guti, the bronx duo personally asked for him to be the first artist to release on their label. Giving him complete free reign to do what he does best, the coveted producer opted to return to his Latino roots for the label’s debut release.

With the majority of this 14 track album written whilst trekking through the jungles of the Dominican Republic, Guti collected and sampled native percussion instruments that feature heavily.

“Every song is full of rhythm and created to make you dance…”

The album also includes killer remixes from The Martinez Brothers themselves, Desolat boss Loco Dice, Djebali, Heartthrob and Priku.

Listen to snippets from two of the tracks below. Keep your eye out for the release at the end of next month.
