South-West UK techno outfit SPEKTRA is linking up with one of the UK’s most respected festival brands, Junction 2, for a special open-air show at The Prospect Building on 3rd May 2026. Running from 14:00 to 23:00 over the May Bank Holiday, the event marks SPEKTRA’s debut at the venue and celebrates four years of the collective, in what’s shaping up to be one of the brand’s biggest parties to date. The lineup taps directly into the modern techno circuit, bringing together high-energy selectors and live-wire performers including Kobosil, Daria Kolosova, Funk Tribu and Patrick Mason.
Since launching in 2022, SPEKTRA has carved out a reputation across the South West for uncompromising techno events that lean heavily on the energy of the European underground. Their parties – often staged in raw, stripped-back spaces like Bristol’s subterranean venue The Underground – have built a loyal following by pairing international headliners with emerging local talent. Teaming up with Junction 2 for the first time represents a significant step up for the brand, connecting a rising regional promoter with a festival name synonymous with meticulous sound design, industrial staging and forward-thinking electronic lineups.
Junction 2 itself continues to hold a unique place in the UK’s techno headlines. Known for its iconic Bridge Stage, no-VIP policy and carefully curated programming, the London festival blends natural surroundings with stark industrial structures at Boston Manor Park, creating a setting that’s become iconic within the global circuit. The 2026 edition already features artists like Jeff Mills, Nina Kraviz, Funk Tribu and I Hate Models, underlining the brand’s continued commitment to pushing underground sounds on a large-scale platform.
This year also saw SPEKTRA expand beyond the dancefloor with its new online series SPEKTRA Sessions, a streaming concept spotlighting artists connected to the brand’s community. The first episode featured groove specialist Klaps, while the second welcomed The Muffin Man, who will also appear at the upcoming Bristol event. Check out the sessions below:
