Football meets sound system once again as Copa del Rave storms back into Los Angeles on October 9th. Presented by Adidas, the unique tournament transforms Evolve Soccer into a clash of beats, bragging rights, and plenty of sweat. Eight teams made up of some of the music industry’s biggest names will battle it out on the turf, chasing not just goals but glory.

Of course, no Copa is complete without its soundtrack. This year’s pitch-side party features secret sets and unannounced cameos, with a special halftime performance from Grammy-nominated Kah-lo. Behind the decks, fans can expect sonic fire from Bolo, Karaba, Life In Planets, Thee Mike B, Juos, and Soraya. The player roster is just as stacked. Stars like Chris Lorenzo, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (TEED), Apple Music’s Luchero, Ocho On The Beat, and Nikita the Wicked will trade studio time for football boots, with even more names still to come.

But Copa is not just noise and nightlife. Across its first five editions, the event has raised more than $60,000 for charity. Every team donates to compete, and the winners get to choose which cause takes home the prize. Last year, Red Light Management claimed victory and the bragging rights that come with it. This year’s contenders include Beatport, CAA, Capitol Records, Circa, INFAMOUS, Red Light Management, Symphonic Distribution, and Stratasonic.
