Michael Bibi has raised more than €56,000 for cancer support through a surprise performance at Beachouse Ibiza, held last week. The intimate, unannounced set took place at the beachside venue and drew a close-knit crowd, with donations collected at the door in support of the Asociación Pitiusa de Ayuda a Afectados de Cáncer, a local charity aiding individuals affected by cancer across Ibiza and Formentera.
The spontaneous event generated an impressive €56,021, all of which Bibi donated directly to the charity.

“I’ve always had a thing for last-minute shows in Ibiza. There’s something special about the chaos and spontaneity of it all. But this time, instead of an after-party, I wanted to channel that energy into something with meaning. Playing at Beachouse for the first time, with the sea just a few feet away and the energy of the crowd, reminded me why I fell in love with this scene in the first place – the community and connection.”
“Last night was one of those moments where you could really feel that unity,” he said. “We’ve all faced our own challenges, and if we can turn that into something that supports others, then that’s what it’s all about.”

Bibi’s commitment to cancer-related causes has been deeply personal. In June 2023, he revealed his own battle with central nervous system lymphoma, a rare form of cancer affecting the brain and spine. Following an intense period of hospitalisation and treatment, he was declared cancer-free in December 2023.

Since his recovery, the DJ and producer has continued to use his platform to give back. In 2024, he launched the first edition of his One Life festival at Finsbury Park in London, an event that raised over £120,000 for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
