Former illegal squat rave warehouse has opened as new London venue

The new space opened its doors on 29th March

With UK’s cultural spaces facing increasing pressure, a brand new venue has opened in London, providing a beacon of hope for the city’s nightlife. Located at 118 Curtain Rd, EC2A 3PJ, Unlocked Shoreditch has been dubbed an experience-led, inclusive venue, aiming to inject fresh energy into Shoreditch’s already dynamic landscape.

Located in a once-forgotten warehouse; a former illegal squat rave, Unlocked Shoreditch has been transformed into a cutting-edge venue that seamlessly blends industrial aesthetics with Shoreditch’s vibrant creative scene. Ahead of its full Autumn 2025 launch, the club has unveiled a series of ‘Unlocked Origins’ events, offering a glimpse into what’s to come from this transformed warehouse space.

Opening shows:

29th March – Australian producer and viral sensation Tobiahs kicked off the series last weekend.

4th April – Nooriyah, founder of ‘Middle Of Nowhere’, brings the sound of the Diaspora to Unlocked, with support from Mahnoor and DJ Shadobeni.

5th April – Renowned selector Jyoty debuts her brand new Homegrown party at the venue.

18th April – Manchester legends Mason Collective bring their electrifying MVSON London party to the capital, playing alongside Joëlla Jackson and Ramoss.
