New 450 capacity venue to open in London’s Hackney Wick this Thursday

The launch event features a special guest from Ninja Tune

Hackney Wick’s renowned clubbing institution, Number 90, has entered a new era with the transformation of their ‘Hideout‘ space into a new state-of-the-art audiophile venue. Known for their eclectic events and commitment to innovation, the club has undergone a meticulous redesign to enhance its sound and atmosphere.

The refurbishment has seen the space stripped back and rebuilt with wooden paneling and acoustic treatments, creating an environment optimised for unparalleled audio quality. A newly designed central DJ booth anchors the room, complemented by bespoke lighting, 360-degree projection mapping, and the venue’s signature D&B sound system. A fresh wooden floor completes the immersive setup, aiming to elevate the live music experience for performers and audiences alike.

“We didn’t just renovate a venue, we built an experience. Every panel, every angle, every speaker was positioned for optimal sound. Whether you’re a DJ, a performer, or just here for the atmosphere, Hideout will change the way you hear music and experience events”

Bruno Cabral, co-founder Number 90

To mark the relaunch, Number 90 Hideout will host a grand opening on Thursday, April 3rd. The event will feature performances from Giles Smith, Jive Talk, and a special guest from Ninja Tune, alongside craft cocktails and light bites.

The venue’s reinvention precedes another milestone—the 11th anniversary of Number 90 on April 5th. The celebration will feature performances from international and UK artists, including Cinthie, Just Jam, and Housey Doingz.
