Sziget Festival is returning bigger and better than ever in 2025, promising a truly electrifying experience for music lovers across the globe. From August 6th to 11th, Budapest’s iconic Óbuda Island will once again be transformed into the “Island of Freedom,” offering a six-day celebration of music, art, and culture.

The first wave of headliners for Sziget 2025 is already generating excitement. Pop sensation Chappell Roan, known for her breakthrough hit “Good Luck, Babe!”, will take the stage alongside the unapologetically bold Charli XCX, who will perform tracks from her triumphant 2024 album BRAT. Also gracing the festival’s main stages will be Anyma, the solo project of Matteo Milleri from the legendary electronic duo Tale Of Us, who is set to dazzle audiences with his immersive audio-visual performance.

These powerhouse artists are just the tip of the iceberg. The full lineup for Sziget 2025 is a treasure trove of talent across various genres. Belfast-based rap trio KNEECAP will bring their politically charged sound, while the legendary rock band Papa Roach will celebrate 25 years of their iconic album Infest.
Fans of electronic music can look forward to performances from The Blessed Madonna, Justice, Adriatique, and Kenyan-born, UK-based breakout star Kenya Grace. Blossoms, RY X, and Nelly Furtado are also among the stellar 44 acts announced, with many more to follow in the coming months.

While the music lineup is the festival’s main attraction, Sziget offers so much more. With a program that spans theatre, cabaret, comedy, art, and more, Sziget continues to be a melting pot of global creativity. The famed Magic Mirror will return, serving as a hub for LGBTQ+ events, performances, and thought-provoking talks, creating an inclusive and celebratory space for all attendees.

The festival’s diverse areas invite festivalgoers to experience a rich cultural program beyond the main stages. From mesmerizing theatre performances to circus shows that leave audiences in awe, Sziget ensures that there’s something for everyone. And with installations, walkabout acts, and immersive art experiences scattered throughout the site, it’s a true feast for the senses.

Óbuda Island is the perfect backdrop for the magic of Sziget. This lush, green island in the heart of Budapest has been the site of the festival for decades and offers the ideal combination of nature, music, and urban energy. Over the years, it has earned a reputation as one of Europe’s most beloved festival locations, and in 2025, it will once again serve as the canvas for one of the continent’s most extraordinary cultural events.

Early Bird tickets for Sziget 2025 are already available, with prices starting at €225. You can secure your spot at szigetfestival.com/tickets. The festival has also partnered with Revolut to offer €20 to any new Revolut customers.
