Last weekend saw London’s Maiden Voyage Festival bid farewell to the 2024 festival season in emphatic fashion. Taking place at MV’s new home of Burgess Park, the last of the summer sun descended on the capital, basking thousands of ravers for one last knees up to round off the season.

Known for its intimate yet eclectic atmosphere, the festival creates an exciting fusion of sounds and cultures. With carefully curated lineups, Maiden Voyage has quickly become a highlight in London’s music calendar, drawing in adventurous listeners from across the city and beyond.

The annual celebration brings together a diverse selection of genres, including disco, house, hip-hop, techno, jazz and experimental sounds. This year was no exception, with a long list of top drawer artists from their respective arenas including Arca (live), Mall Grab, MCR-T, Palms Trax, Erika De Casier, Jayda G and many more.

Featuring 4 stages, including The Dome, Unfold, The Plant Room and The Main Stage, each offered their own unique soundtrack. With all this talent on show, there was plenty of stand out tracks to choose from.
Here’s five of our favourites we heard in The Plant Room stage. Click the settings on each video to watch in 2160p (4k).
Kyle Starkey – Tryton
Played by Young Marco
Kyle Starkey has become synonymous with the resurgence of hard house, producing banger after banger laced with energy and infectious melodies. This particular track has been a regular feature in Young Marco’s sets of late.
The Sax Players – Careless Whisper (South East Players Mix)
Played by MCR-T
One which took us by surprise – released in 2005 on Armada, this rework of an iconic George Michael tune was met with a huge reaction from the crowd. MCR-T had the whole room in the palm of his hand.
Mall Grab & False Persona – Crazy
Played by Mall Grab
This forthcoming anthem comes from two of the most exciting producers right now. A proper hands in the air moment, and our first time hearing it out live. This euphoric masterpiece is said to be released before the end of the year.
ID-ID
Played by DJ Gigola
A heavy-hitting selection from the genre-bending sensation DJ Gigola, which erupted through the speakers in The Plant Room. Let us know in the comments if you can name the track!
Mall Grab & Effy – Iluv (vip)
Played by Mall Grab
A supercharged VIP edit of Mall Grab & Effy’s “iluv”; the first track dropped on their brand new imprint Fragrance. This more recently released version features raucous D&B drums, giving the track a whole new dynamic.
