Renowned Italian techno artist Enrico Sangiuliano is back with a brand new single, ‘Interconnection’, released digitally on August 30th via his NINETOZERO label. The track is the second part of his Interconnection EP, which also includes the previously released single ‘Can U Feel It’. Fans can look forward to a vinyl edition of the EP later this year.
To mark the occasion, Sangiuliano will perform an all-night-long set at London’s Village Underground on September 7th. The event promises to be a celebration of the EP’s release, with tickets currently available here.
Discussing the inspiration behind ‘Interconnection’, Sangiuliano explained,
“The upcoming release is about the ‘interconnection’ between different senses, like sound and touch. When sound becomes vibration, our perception is enhanced. The track creates a metaphor of this concept using a voice and a synthesizer that evolve and merge into one, while maintaining their distinctive identities. ‘Interconnection’ is made for the dancefloor, where all our senses come together, creating a multisensory experience.”
Sangiuliano’s latest offering stays true to his reputation as a versatile producer, with the track blending deep, hypnotic drums, acid synth flourishes, and edgy vocal stabs. The trance-infused pads shift through various filters, adding to the dynamic journey, while a powerful breakdown provides a momentary pause before the groove kicks back in, propelling dancers into a mesmerizing climax.
As a producer known for chart-topping hits and remixes that range from dark and brooding to euphoric, Sangiuliano continues to push the boundaries of techno.
