Originating in 2016 within the Moroccan city of Essaouira, MOGA has evolved into a global phenomenon that draws music lovers from around the world. The festival offers five days of immersive experiences, blending dance, culture, music, food, and discovery in Essaouira, the city of wind.
The event kicks off on October 2nd and 3rd with MOGA OFF, a series of cultural and wellness activities spread across the city, including open parties and events centred around art, food, and sea sports. These events, free and open to the public, are designed to introduce festival-goers to the rich and diverse traditions of Essaouira.

From October 4th to 6th, the festival shifts to SOFITEL Essaouira Mogador Golf & Spa for MOGA IN. Attendees can explore four distinct stages—Main, Garden, Wild, and Terrace—featuring performances by over 70 international artists. Between sets, festival-goers can relax in the venue’s swimming pools or stroll through the lush palm grove.
The second phase of the MOGA Essaouira 2024 lineup brings exciting additions, including Damian Lazarus, the mastermind behind Crosstown Rebels and Day Zero; Âme Live, whose genre-defying collaboration has spanned over 15 years; and Dixon, a true icon of the German electronic scene, set to deliver an unforgettable Berlin-inspired set.
