Iconic former nightclub Privilege will make a return in 2025 under the new name [UNVRS]. Back in July, a viral UFO sighting in Ibiza exploded on to various social media pages capturing the attention over 50 million people worldwide. It’s since been revealed this video was an announcement stunt to launch [UNVRS] (pronounced “Universe”) – the world’s first ever Hyperclub.
So what is a ‘Hyperclub’ exactly? Whilst it’s not yet known exactly what such a venue will look like, UNVRS describe it as combining the high-end service, luxury and attention to detail of a nightclub with the infrastructure, scale and ambition of arena events, creating a never-before-seen concept in nightlife entertainment.
Their next-level technology will enable hyper-customised and interchangeable production for each event, pushing every aspect of the experience beyond the limitations of the superclub.
[UNVRS] comes from the mind of Yann Pissenem, a pioneer in the music industry who arrived to Ibiza 15 years ago with just ‘his DJ equipment and dog in a broken-down car’. Fast forward to today and it’s safe to say he’s well established on the White Isle, as the founder/owner of Ushuaïa and Hï.
Always looking for the next big thing, Yann continues to push the envelope in Ibiza – bringing new and exciting innovations to the world’s dance music epicentre. With over 1.5 million visitors to his venues each season, [UNVRS] is set to increase that even further, whilst setting the stage for the next generation of Ibiza’s nightlife.
Speaking about the new venue, Yann Pissenem said:

The clip shows Will Smith cracking the case of the mysterious sighting, where he discovers the true identity of the UFO – a drone flying above Yann’s new venue. The video has since been shared by more international stars such as David Guetta, Maya Jama and Alec Monopoly, fuelling the hype around [UNVRS].
Yann, goes on to say:
