DRUMSHEDS, the 15,000-capacity former IKEA warehouse has established itself as a premier destination for music and cultural events since its opening almost a year ago. Curated by Broadwick Live; the team behind the likes of Printworks and Field Day, DRUMSHEDS has hosted an array of shows featuring top global talent, brands, and labels in its vast industrial warehouse space.
As DRUMSHEDS gears up for its third major season from September to December, it promises an even more impressive lineup with more than 20 renowned music brands and over a hundred artists. The iconic 608,000 square-foot warehouse will feature performances across three club rooms X, Y, and Z, enhanced by unparalleled production.
Kicking off the season on September 28th, DEFECTED celebrates its 25th anniversary with a stellar lineup including MK, Green Velvet, and Sam Divine in Room X. Room Y will host sister brand Glitterbox with The Shapeshifters and Sophie Lloyd, while Room Z will feature emerging talent under the ‘D4 DANCE’ sub-label.
Further highlights of the season include performances by Dom Dolla, presented by ‘Eat Your Own Ears’ on November 15th, and Gorgon City’s ‘Enter The Realm’ concept returning on November 1st. The Martinez Brothers bring their ‘Cuttin’ Headz’ brand on October 11th, and a very special pairing of elrow and Boomtown Festival, who will host two unforgettable dates on the Halloween weekend between October 26th – 27th.
Broadwick staple, The Hydra returns for three events, including a collaboration with ‘Eat Your Own Ears’ on November 2nd, a special ‘House Nation’ night with Honey Dijon on December 6th before welcoming one of the most most celebrated duos in dance music to curate their final show of the year on December 7th. Drum and bass enthusiasts can look forward to Worried About Henry’s 12th October event featuring Hybrid Minds and Andy C’s ‘ALIVE 3.0’ show on November 8th. Rinse FM celebrates its 30th anniversary with The Streets and DJ EZ headlining.
DRUMSHEDS will also debut City Splash’s indoor festival celebrating African and Caribbean music, a DJ set by The Chemical Brothers on November 9th for Bugged Out’s 30th anniversary and a progressive masterclass by ARTBAT under their ‘UPPERGROUND’ banner on November 22nd. Rounding off the electronic music legends due to perform finds Fatboy Slim’s ‘Slimenascope’ show on September 23rd with heavyweight DJs like Armand Van Helden and Eats Everything.
Expanding beyond electronic music, DRUMSHEDS will host performances by SAULT, grime artist Giggs, and the British Aurora Orchestra with immersive shows. Other notable events in the upcoming season include a Live Nation presentation of viral rapper YEAT and the Strawberries & Creem festival featuring RnB and hip-hop icons. Broadwick Live’s queer party, False Idols, returns on November 30th with Jessie Ware and The Blessed Madonna b2b HAAi among others.
