We caught up with Milkdonna to find out more about her latest release :
How did you approach the production process for this song, and were there any techniques or tools that you found effective in achieving the style of your latest track?
When I started producing this track I wanted to transmit the feeling of sensual and sexy song, something between dancing and having sex at the same time.
Your music style is a mixture of underground electronic styles. Can you tell us about how you incorporate elements from different genres into your tracks?
I don’t get stuck in any specific genre when Djing, but I always try to communicate trough music and either my sets or my music there’s always this element of me expressing my self thought it.
“Erotica” has a mesmerizing and risque vocal element, where are the vocals from and whats the meaning behind the lyrics?
The vocals is my voice and basically it’s just me speaking naughty.
Can you walk us through how you crafted the harmony of this track, from conception to final production, what were the influences of ‘Erotica’?
I wanted a deep bass for this track, something heavy, dark, but also with a warm flow behind it at the same time. About influences, as I’m not a singer i really love Miss Kittin tracks not sung with only spoken words .
Are there any signature production techniques or tricks that you frequently employ in your music, and how do they contribute to your unique sonic identity?
