Scottish techno sensation Frazi.er has just announced his next boundary-pushing show to be thrown at Glasgow’s colossal OVO Hydro. Taking place on Sunday 4th August, the event will be held in collaboration with audio specialists Funktion-One to create an immersive 360 spectacle featuring a sound system which has never been used in Scotland before.

The Glasgow-based DJ/producer has become an unstoppable force in the genre, selling out multiple shows with wide spread demand taking him on tour around the world. His infectious sound which melds gritty industrial rhythms with hypnotic synth textures has seen releases on Pan Pot’s imprint Second State and Carl Cox’s Intec label.

Never one to get complacent, Fraser Stuart aka Frazi.er has continued to push the envelope in his shows, finding new ways to dazzle crows and curate unique experiences on the dancefloor. The visionary artist’s latest concept will transform a 14,000 capacity venue into an intimate setting by placing a custom-designed stage in the centre of the room with Frazi.er playing all night long.
The space will also be equipped with bespoke production and Funktion-One’s mighty Zero sound system – marking the biggest set-up ever used in Scotland.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Frazi.er said:
“The FRAZI.ER 360 concept is by far the biggest and most important show of my career to date. “Over the last five years I’ve been using my experiences from clubs and festivals around the world – both as a DJ and raver – to bring a new vision to my own events, and it’s finally coming together.
Working directly with industry giants like Funktion-One has been a dream come true, and the sound system we’ve designed is truly bespoke for this event. It’s time to take my open to close to the next level, and I can’t wait to see everyone there!”
