The opening season of London’s new mega venue, Drumsheds, is well underway and already we’ve seen some fantastic shows from across the musical spectrum. The huge 15,000 capacity venue has hosted the likes of La Discothèque, Gorgon City, Bugged Out, Worried About Henry and a Halloween special from none other than Elrow.
Arriving on the 2nd of December will be one of the UK’s largest LGBTQI+ events, as a brand new movement called False Idols brings a world-class line-up of dynamic artists to perform on a dance floor free of restriction.

False Idols is an all new party from the indelible minds of Broadwick Live (Printworks, Drumsheds, and Field Day), Little Gay Brother, and Percolate who have combined ideologies to create an open and safe space for all to express themselves. At the core of their values is a theme of collective consciousness, where they open their arms to all who love freely with passion despite any differences – creed, colour, queer, straight, LGBQTI+, this community isn’t restricted by barriers.
The headline performance for the debut of False Idols is none other than the mighty Sugababes. With six UK Number 1 records, sell out performances at the O2, a recent heavily-hyped Boiler Room and shutting down the Avalon stage at Glastonbury, the dream team unite for a special live show in Drumsheds’ main room.
Taking charge of the DJ duties in the main room are another group of selectors set to contribute to the euphoric atmosphere. The B.O.T.A. producer Eliza Rose brings a mix of garage and rave hits, generously sprinkled with a playful vibe. Meanwhile, Miss Jodie Harsh steps up to the stage – a name that has played a crucial role in the UK’s queer scene for decades, advocating for LGBQTI+ culture.
Joining them on the lineup is revered selector Job Jobse, recognised as one of Europe’s most invigorating DJs at the moment, renowned for his dynamic and unique sets. Job is set to go back-to-back with Saoirse, co-founder of Body Movements Festival and label head of trUst – an influential figure in advancing queer culture in the UK. Ross From Friends, affiliated with Ninja Tune / Brainfeeder adds to the stacked billing, showcasing his interpretation of emotive, melodic, and groovy sounds.

In THE ORACLE, also known as Y Room, a dynamic duo of trendsetters comes together for a day-to-night session, featuring a lineup of DJs, producers, and performers committed to maintaining peak energy levels. Hailing from London via Detroit, Demi Riquísimo is celebrated for his captivating acid, Italo house, and disco creations. He joins forces for a back-to-back session with Michelle Manetti, the head honcho of Femme Fraiche and an iconic figure in the scene.
GIDEÖN, a prominent name in the queer movement and the visionary behind Glastonbury’s Block9 and NYC Downlow after-hours club, is set to make an appearance. The lineup also includes the rhythmic and steamy specialist Josh Caffé, alongside Jaguar, MikeQ, Nathan Micay, and the esteemed electro duo Paranoid London, who will deliver a special live performance.

Known as FOOLS GOLD, the Z Room pays tribute to the spirit of joy, liberation, queerness, and fabulousness, characterised by a stylish ballroom influence. The proceedings include a diverse mix of established figures and emerging talents from the realms of pop and electronic music.
Additionally, featuring respected veterans from the underground LGBQTI+ scene, including Dan Beaumont from Chapter 10, who will be going back-to-back with Wes Ballagley, Adonis resident Grace Sands, Little Gay Brother resident Joshua James, and more. You can also expect a playlist of 100% lively party anthems from the Huns N’Roses and Raw Silk teams, both known for consistently delivering uplifting sets.
False Idols is a statement of intent that sticks two fingers up to the fakes, the haters, the false prophets, and time wasters.
