A new 3,500 capacity venue is coming to Dublin

SILO opens this October

Situated within Dublin’s renowned RDS complex is a huge 10,000 sq space previously used for major exhibitions, indoor sporting events, and award shows. Now, it has a new purpose.

Named SILO, the newly repurposed venue is poised to redefine the electronic music landscape in Dublin, addressing a significant void in the city. The opening series of events will bring world-famous clubbing brands and artists to the Republic of Ireland’s capital.

Forming the initial lineups include globally acclaimed party elrow as well a special Boiler Room show, marking 5 years since either brand appeared in ROI.

House music mainstay Defected will be presenting its first showcase event since 2022, when they hosted a sold-out festival at Naas Racecourse. Completing the inaugural announcement are electronic music titans Kerri Chandler, Claptone and Vintage Culture, each curating their own nights in the new venue.

SILO is a collaborative projecrt between TEG MJR Eire and some of Ireland’s leading promoters in the electronic music scene. Julian O’Brien of TEG MJR Eire expressed his excitement about the new space, stating :

SILO is a concept that truly excites us and fills a significant void in the Irish events scene. Attendees can anticipate cutting-edge production unlike anything seen before on the island of Ireland.” Craig Reynolds, one of the project’s promoters, explains, “SILO has drawn inspiration from revolutionary concepts seen worldwide, such as Printworks and Warehouse Project, by transforming iconic spaces for 21st-century clubbers.”
